Content | In the research colloquium, concepts for final theses of BA and MA students are discussed. In addition, we listen to lectures by KIT staff members and external guests in order to get a picture of the current state of research in the history of technology, its topics and methods. Every two weeks, contributions to the simultaneous online lecture series "Technikgeschichte über Mittag" of the Gesellschaft für Technikgeschichte will be attended. The research colloquium will therefore take place largely online, and there may be individual face-to-face sessions to the extent possible. Your course credit will consist of writing a report of 4-5 pages on one (A module) or two (B module) papers of your choice in the KGT module. If you take the course in GTM, the same applies as for KGT B. If you wish, you can substitute a report by introducing the speaker of a session, introducing his/her talk and taking over the discussion. Details will follow in the first session. If you want to use topics of the research colloquium later for the module final examination, this is also possible. |
