In the summer semester 2018, the Department of History organized a KIT-wide lecture series "Technical Universities. Perspectives on University History" (program). The proceedings will be published in a thematic focus of the "Jahrbuch für Universitätsgeschichte" (Yearbook of University History) announced by the series editor for 2023.

The lecture series was part of the department's activities in the research field of University history.
