University teaching offers many starting points for technical history topics: The analysis of concrete objects allows family-historical explorations as well as insights into museum work. The many references to current social debates suggest teaching in interdisciplinary contexts - at KIT currently especially for mechanical engineering and science communication. In addition, the mediation of technology-historical topics in formats of public history is an option. Ongoing projects are pursued, among others, with the goal of increasingly discussing corresponding didactic approaches and methods in the technology history community.
